Ashley, Pearl P., 77, passed away, Sunday, October 18, 2020. Pearl was born November 25, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John Claybourne Settle and Rosemary Catherine (Wills) Myers. She was a retired cook for Caesar’s Southern Indiana, she loved Elvis Presley, and a Catholic. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a step-father, Carl E. Myers; husband, Wayne Payton; first husband, George Ashley; two brothers, Fred and Jerry Settle. Survivors include a son, Darin Ashley (Tammy); two daughters, Rosemary Ashley (Tommy Sears) and Sherri L. Purvis (Travis); two brothers, John Settle (Evelina) and James Settle (Judy); nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visiting will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 from Noon-8:00 p.m. at JB Ratterman & Sons Funerals & Family Cremation Care, 2114 W. Market Street. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
