Darrell B. Powell

Powell, Darrell B., 69, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. Darrell was a retired CPA for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He was a member of St. Bartholomew and St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wesley Powell Sr. and Wanda T. Kessinger; brother, Sidney Powell. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Luz Manzano Powell; brother, Thomas Wesley Powell Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas William and Emily Powell; grandchildren, Olivia and Thomas Richard Powell. His Mass of Resurrection will be 11A.M. Monday, February 8, 2021 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2040 Buechel Bank Rd. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation will be 10A.M. to 11A.M. at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to Catholic Holy Masses at the church of your choice.
