Martinez, Barbara Jean, 54, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. She was born August 26, 1966 in Taylorsville, Kentucky to John & Mary Goode. She loved the outdoors, was an avid animal lover, decorating for Christmas and especially loved her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Angel Martinez. Barbara’s survivors include, three daughters, Jo LeMieux, Rebecca Johnson (Cory) and Shannon Martinez; son, Angel Martinez III; parents, John & Mary Goode; sister, PJ Briney (Dereck); two brothers, John Goode, Jr. and Charles Goode (Lori); five grandchildren and her aunt and best friend, Margaret Palmer (Terry), also survive. A memorial service in Bardstown will be announced later. Memorial gifts to honor Barbara’s life can be made in her name at your local Humane Society.
